Book Mountain Now Open at Homestead Cybrarium

A world of imagination can live inside the pages of the book and take you across the universe. That’s the inspiration behind Book Mountain, the latest stunning feature at the Homestead Cybrarium. The Book Mountain interactive sculpture rises from the first floor to a ceiling-high solar system and features custom children’s programming.

The Cybrarium, located at 80 W Mowry Drive, Homestead, FL 33030, opened in March 2021 and is the City of Homestead’s first of its kind high-tech library that marries traditional library services with advanced technology and innovative programming. Other offerings at the Cybrarium include virtual reality, 3D printing, a children’s theater, and a brand new collection of library books. Miami-Dade County residents can sign up for a free Cybrarium card at www.cybrarium.org.

Book Mountain was designed, fabricated and installed by Taylor Studios, Inc., an AR international design and exhibits firm known for creating inspiring experiences. The Cybrarium is part of an overall vision to revitalize Downtown Homestead. Other completed projects include the City Hall, Police Headquarters, Seminole Theatre, and Homestead Station transit and entertainment center. The expansion of the City’s Losner Park is also currently underway. Learn more at www.discoverdowntownhomestead.com.
