Osceola Library System’s ‘Florida Author Fest’

The Osceola Library System presents its annual Florida Author Fest on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Library St. Cloud Branch.

The event will showcase the talent and creativity of 25+ Florida authors, allowing the community to meet writers, discover new books, purchase titles, and have them signed. Authors represent a variety of genres, from children’s literature and young adult fiction to memoir, poetry, and non-fiction.

At 11 a.m., enjoy a special “Storytime with Sami”, featuring a live reading of the newly published children’s book “The Adventures of Sami the Sandhill Crane” that tells all about the St. Cloud icon.

The Florida Author Fest is a part of the Library System’s ongoing commitment to supporting and promoting local authors. The Osceola Library System maintains a Local Author Collection, featuring works by writers in the community, available year-round.
