Osceola Library Launching ‘Show Your Card’ Discount Offer

September is Library Card Sign Up Month! The Osceola Library System (OLS) is celebrating by launching their annual “Show Your Card, Osceola!” campaign where they partner with local businesses to make an Osceola Library Card the most powerful card in everyone’s wallet.

In addition to the long list of services an OLS Library card normally provides, including access to children’s books, research databases, e-books, streaming services, a maker space complete with sewing and recording studios, hotspots and computers, OLS Library cardholders will also get discounts from businesses throughout the county during the month of September.

“The ‘Show Your Card, Osceola!’ campaign is the Osceola Library System’s way of thanking the community for its continued support to its patrons, and an incentive to potential Library patrons to take advantage of the wide array of free services available to them that they may not even be aware of,” said Library Director Amy Jones. Local businesses are given extra exposure within the community through a collaborative marketing campaign with the Library that will highlight their products and services on social media, in newsletters and flyers. OLS is an avid supporter of local businesses both big and small and utilizes these partnerships to highlight their importance and to enhance Library programs.

Anyone who lives, works, owns property, or attends school in Osceola County is eligible to get a free Osceola Library System library card. Polk and Brevard County residents are also eligible through a reciprocal borrowing agreement. Only physical library cards will be valid when redeeming offers. Visit your local Library branch to get your library card and take advantage of the deals these businesses have to offer.

Business owners and managers are encouraged to join the fun — The Osceola Library System will continue accepting business sign-up forms to expand their list of partners throughout the month of September.
